Is it ok if my product contains a white layer of ice crystals on the surface?
It’s perfectly normal for ice crystals to form on the top or within layers of food which has been stored in the freezer. The good news is that food with a top layer of ice crystals is perfectly safe to eat and won’t affect the delicious taste or quality of your meal once heated.
